MULTIPLICITIES
Reflections upon urban experiences and the issue of representation

In the summer 2005, transitpassengers travelled to meet artists in Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Georgia and Turkey. We met a whole bunch of fascinating people: painters, sculptors, photographers, architects, musicians, sound and video artists, graphic designers, fashion designers and so on.

We are currently planning, together with some of these artists, the project �Multiplicities�, an exploration of our common urban lives. Through a broad range of media, feelings and perspectives, we want to challenge the existing representations of Lahore, Bishkek, Tashkent, Tehran, Tbilisi and Istanbul and to a larger extent, question the issue of representation. - Read more, or download the brochure in two parts: PDF 1 & PDF 2
